B.P.I.E. a Polytechnic Diploma Engineering College of distinction has started its maiden journey in 2010 under the prudent leadership of a far-sighted philanthropic entrepreneur, Mr. Satya Sadhan Dutta. It is stationed at the outskirt of the temple-city Bishnupur, in the Dist. of Bankura, West Bengal, amid lushgreen sylvan pollution free environment, providing a silent solemn and serene atmosphere for performing ideal teaching-learning activities. This Institute(BPIE) has a unique infrastructure with adequate smart class-rooms, equipped laboratories and work-shops, rich libraries, twin play-grounds, and greeneries, spreading over 10 acre charming campus. It is one of the Best Polytechnic College in Bankura District of West Bengal.

The Institute also provides separate common-rooms for boys and girls,as well as facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
