It is a matter of pride to pen down the message for publishing the second issue of our magazine - “Aspiration”. It is published on 25th January,2019 on the occasion of Biennial Athletic Meet of B.P.I.E. Group. This magazine bears immense potentiality of sharpening communication skill as well as literary skills of the students as a part of overall personality development. I congratulate all students who have contributd their writings for the magazine.

Empowerment of students for their allround development through education is our cherished motto. Today education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is actuation of knowledge and skills, building character and improving employability of our young talent, The future leadership.

This Biennial Sports Meet includes more than twenty institutions under BPIE Group. A part of events in community sports which incorporates the children of Elementary schools in our neighbouring areas. I wish Biennial Athletic Meet, 2019 to be a Grand success.

I am Prof Manab Sengupta a retired Professor of University of Calcutta and Executive Manager and Executive Engineer of various MNC's take pleasure to say few words about BPIE group of Bishnupur. A group of energetic and enthusiastic persons headed by Sri Satya Sadhan Dutta wanted to do some positive work for the Society at large and started Schools , Colleges , Diploma Engineering Colleges at the mandir city of Bishnupur in West Bengal.

The infrastructure and the teaching standard are of best of the State level The group under the dynamic leadership of Sri Dutta  started few ITI for enabling  the youth for earning their livelihood, one ITI their own and 13 nos ITI on PPP model.

I worked in DRDO RCI Hyderabad and GMRT Pune TIFR and in the process I observed certain workshop practicess , It is pleasure to see many systematic laboratory and workshop procedures adopted are very close to my observations of National level

This group have experienced staff and teachers to impart state of the art teaching and training to the students.  Moreover I am happy to note as Dean of this BPIE group that there are regular classes for theory and Practicals , Projects .

There is very active and effective training and placement cell

Welcome to the world of BPIE Groups, where education means all round development of the Students. This is an Institution that has a mission to make each Students achieve his or her best. We give lot of importance to make discipline a core value, encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility through a well-planned academic schedule,House system, various Inter School /College competitions and Sports activities. We expect them to do the same at home too like making the beds, keeping the rooms tidy, helping and supporting the family members in the daily chores etc.

The Institute has a well-planned curriculum so that co-curricular activities also are given due importance. The Institute Almanac and Personal Booklet give all the important information on Institute like the routine, rules and regulation,uniforms, test schedules, holidays, co-curricular activities and feedback from teachers. The parents should ensure that their ward is actively involved in all activities.

Our institution is committed for national and social cause by organizing blood donation camp and Tree Plantation programme. To cater the academic and research-oriented needs of the students, our institution organizes expert lectures under Lead College Programme. Along with academic achievements, it contributes to develop the overall personality of the students by organizing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as sports competitions, NSS, etc. The students are motivated to participate in cultural programmes and to contribute in annual magazine.

Every year our institution offers scholarship to poor and needy students for girls and boys respectively.I hope our institution will prosper academically in future as all the stakeholders are inspired by the devotional work. I am really proud of the faculty members who have been continually striving to reach higher academic standards without disturbing their duties and activities in the institution. I would like to thank the authorities of parent in statute for their valuable guidance and encouragement. I am also thankful to College Development Committee for its active support, guidance and encouragement. Each and every one of you will one day have to ascribe a meaning to your life. As Swami Vivekananda said, “Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.” Your education here, in this college and outside it, during your time here and long after you get a Degree, will help you find that truth. The true hallmark of that education would be one “by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.” So, seek out that education, discover that truth and remember to use it well.
