Department of Civil Engineering


The Department of Civil Engineering was started with an approved intake of 120 students. With the growth of the real estate sector and core infrastructure projects, the demand for qualified Civil Engineers has increased significantly, leading to an intake capacity of 180 students.


It is our endeavour to produce highly skilled and competent Civil Engineers to serve society and the nation. The department is setting up Geological and Structural Mechanics Laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment. Each laboratory is designed to accommodate up to 90 students at a time, ensuring hands-on practical learning alongside theoretical knowledge.

Mission of Civil Engineering Department


  • To provide an open environment to the students and faculty that promotes both professional and personal growth.
  • To impart a strong theoretical and practical background across the Civil Engineering discipline with an emphasis on supervising constructional work, laboratory practices, and workshop training.
  • To inculcate the skills necessary for lifelong learning, enabling students to continue their education beyond the diploma level while also addressing societal needs.
